If you're like me, one of the first things you do to a Gpz is remove that ugly grab rail from the back. I started accumulating them as scrap, but then I got a brilliant idea.
I took two of them and bolted them bottom to bottom. Then I bolted the assembly to a wood frame. (See photo.)
Now bolt the mounting "forks" to the lower shock absorber bolts.
No dimensions have to be changed at all. They are already made to the width of the rear shock mounts.
Instant stand!

This is a great stand if you don't have a center stand due to aftermarket exhausts etc.
